Overall Objectives of the Legacy Hoops Lil Hoopers Basketball Program
- Have fun and be active
- Build confidence
- Learn the fundamentals of basketball: dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense
- Learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship
Skills Emphasized:
- Basic stationary ball-handling
- Basic moves dribbling up and down the court
- Different types of passes (bounce pass, chest pass, etc.) and proper technique
- Fundamental shooting technique
- Defensive stance and positioning
- Playing as a team
- Emphasis on team play and sportsmanship
*The student to instructor ratio for all classes will be 6:1 or lower.
